1. About SoundTag and acceptance
SoundTag is operated by Carangella Digital & Commerce, a sole proprietorship (ditta individuale) owned by Gabriele Carangella, registered office: Via Ilaria Alpi 16, 71122 Foggia (FG), Italy, VAT number (Partita IVA): IT04615210715, contact: support@soundtag.link. SoundTag lets musicians and artists create, customise, save, share, and analyse QR codes that link listeners to music and other destinations.
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or continuing to use SoundTag, you agree to these Terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
2. Accounts and licence
You must provide accurate information, keep it updated, protect your credentials, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SoundTag within your selected plan while your account remains active.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use SoundTag to:
- break the law, commit fraud, send spam, or mislead people;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- upload malware or interfere with, probe, scrape, or bypass service security;
- reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical or plan limits;
- link to unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive material.
4. Your content and intellectual property
You retain rights in links, logos, images, and other content you submit. You confirm that you have all permissions required to use that content. You grant SoundTag a limited licence to host, process, resize, display, and transmit it only as needed to provide and secure the service.
SoundTag's software, documentation, visual identity, branding, and other service materials remain owned by SoundTag or applicable licensors. Rights-holder complaints may be sent to support@soundtag.link. We may remove disputed material and suspend or terminate repeat infringers.
5. Plans, payments, and subscriptions
Free and paid features are described on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew at the stated billing interval until cancelled. Plan changes may take effect immediately with prorated charges or credits. After cancellation, paid access continues through the current paid period unless a refund or applicable law requires otherwise.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms, together with our Refund Policy.
6. Service availability
SoundTag is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, permanent availability of any third-party destination, or any particular number of scans, listeners, or commercial result.
7. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for a material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, we may delete account content after a reasonable period, subject to legal and operational retention obligations. You should export anything you need before closing your account.
8. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are excluded. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid for SoundTag during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence. You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these Terms.
9. General terms
Italian law governs these Terms, and the competent Italian courts have jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer protections. You may not assign this agreement without consent; we may assign it as part of a reorganisation, merger, or sale. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control.
We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated reasonably. Questions can be sent to support@soundtag.link.
